This story is a simple sword and sorcery romance.
The themes are betrayal, greed, love, forgiveness and transformation.
It's set in a sort of "middle ages come again" time, where the trace of technology remains,
but people think its another form of magic. The ones of us whose lives are currently run by
technology are all long gone.
Riani, a magic scholar, is tried and convicted of crimes she didn't commit, the judge being her own brother,
and is sent into exile. Then things get interesting for her, and for the companions she meets along the way,
as they uncover the truth about the reason's for her exile, and a plot to change the face of her world.
It was written in May and June 2007 and it was a joy to write.

Mature content of a sexual nature in a few places is fairly explicit, though by no means gratuitous.

I always thought that this song suited Rianni, one of the leading characters, especially in the early chapters.
