I started writing when I was at school and have always had my writing head in another world. One teacher once said "I've given you an "A" but I didn't understand it" and I remember being puzzled about what there was not to understand.

Until last year I hadn't thought of myself as being able to write, though I was making music regularly and writing songs, almost as if I had no permission to continue a childhood passion.
A chance comment from a friend changed that in 2007, and in 2008 I don't see it ceasing.
